This year the Winter Weather Necessities Drive will be accepting 

donations of NEW or Gently used coats, as well as 

NEW sleeping bags, toiletries, hats, gloves and socks.

Eleventh Annual Winter Weather Necessities Collection Event
 

Our Collection Events will be held during the months of September,

October and November at various locations throughout the city of Portland. 

These locations are where the community can drop off their donations of 

NEW or Gently used coats, NEW sleeping bags, toiletries, hats, gloves and socks. 

Those donations will be distributed in December.
 

Eleventh Annual Winter Weather Necessities Distribution Event
 

Our Distribution is what it's all about!

This is the day where we put the efforts of both SOS and the community together.
 

The distribution will be a socially distanced event, where our visitors will have access to 

NEW or gently used coasts,  along with a variety of other NEW items including

sleeping bags, toiletries, hats, gloves and socks.

This event is free to the public and packages will be available to anyone who wants one.
 

In the previous years SOS has distributed more than 5,000 coats and Winter Necessity backpacks that included toiletries, hats, gloves, socks and thermal blankets.

This year the goal is to again serve as many people as we can.
